Someone Told me it's all Happening at the Zoo
So I went. Zoo Adventure after the Jump  This picture should be in Highlights for Children with the caption "How many Zebras do you see?"  As the cheetah slowly walked towards me I read that they approach prey by nonchalantly walking over, and then sprinting to a pounce. (Eeek!)    There are giraffes in this picture, I swear.  Okapi, Okapi, Okapi!  These monkeys look like old men. I like gorillas. Yep add it to the list. Pirates, Coffee, Free Will Astrology, and Gorillas.  I'm about to get down with some gorilla anthropomorphism. They're just so...almost human.     Afternoon snack.  It's almost as good as people watching.  Gorillas! They have feet!  This gorilla family was feeling very chill.   Sometimes they seem to watch us as much as we watch them.    I missed the moment when the gorilla put her hand up and a woman touched hands through the glass with her.    The other family of gorillas alternated between playing and resting.    Babies are way cute.      Thanks, Gorillas. You rock. |
