Five Years
We returned home to find our computer sputtering out its last inanimate venting computer breaths. Thus the internet silence has prevented me from telling you about Hawaii and how the earth shook and the thunder and what it said. Today is a special day. In fact it's our five year anniversary, when one traditionally gives the gift of wood. (Hee.) While Eric has said all the important things (to which I can only say: ditto) I must share a few little known things about this man. Not only does he make me laugh and brighten my day...Not only do I still look forward to hanging out with him and having him on my team...Not only does he make my life easier while inspiring me to be better... He cooks. And does dishes. And takes out the trash. He doesn't do windows, but then neither do I. We're pretty happy in our dirty windowed house together. I'm grateful to have found a partner who I love and also really really like. Like Freddy Mercury said: Oooh, Oooh, Oh, You're my best friend. |
